Love Hambrook Marshes CIO protects, manages and preserves Hambrook Marshes for the benefit of wildlife and the public. We have 5 main aims:
The charity is run by seven volunteer trustees and the nature reserve is managed by the trustees, with support from other volunteers. In addition to managing the site for nature conservation, we connect people with nature by providing public access for thousands of visitors each year, many using the Great Stour Way walking and cycling route. We also organinse a range of community engagement activities, including outdoor art workshops, guided walks, a regular newsletter and social media presence.
