Objectives

We are a “good neighbour” scheme, serving the IG10 postcode.  Most of our work supports older people, many over 85, so that their voice may be heard. Increasingly we are being asked for help by people with mental health issues.

Living a good old age is a crucial issue. LVC believes that by listening to that voice and by responding quickly in a dynamic and innovative way, we can both promote and practically assist a better old age. Getting people to medical appointments is our priority, but quality of life, especially social inclusion, is equally important.
