Objectives

Loughborough Sea Cadets help children aged 10-18 learn new new skills through the traditions and customs of the Royal Navy. As an iharity operation under the MS-SC we offer a safe space for  the 35 young people from the Loughborough and Charnwood area. Without Volunteer instructors or Trustees we wouldn't be able to operate 

Activities

We offer a wide spectrum of activities to our young people both Afloat and on shore

Afloat activities include:

  • Powerboating 
  • Sailing
  • Paddlesports (Kayaking / Canoeing / Paddle boarding)
  • Rowing
  • Windsurfing 

On shore activities include:

  • Navigation - Marine and Land
  • First Aid
  • Seamanship
  • Catering 
  • Drill 
  • Leadership
