LonGBoaT Wakefield CIO is a passionate and dedicated charity based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. We are devoted to providing a platform for LGBT+ individuals and allies to come together and create an inclusive environment when delivering events, activities and services.
We deliver events, activities and services to the LGBT Community in the Wakefield district. We organise an annual pride event to bring the community together to reflect and celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI). Work with multiple agencies and authorities promoting LGBT inclusion and EDI.
Since recently becoming a charity we have many different plans and projects in place to increase and develop our support within the LGBT+ Community.
