Our vision for London is a city where people of all ages and abilities can cycle safely and enjoyably, and we believe that making cycling the number one transport choice for everyday local journeys will generate immense quality of life, environmental, health and economic benefits for everyone.
Our campaigning work includes pushing for faster, bolder rollout of more cycling and other active & sustainable travel infrastructure to enable more people to walk, cycle, wheel and use public transport and more people to not use private motor vehicles. As well as campaigning for such infrastructure, we also campaign to reduce road danger in a wide variety of ways including through rollout of safer lorry designs and through redesigned junctions etc. And our local groups work to enable more people directly to cycle through social rides and ‘Cycle Buddies’ enabling more and a wider range of people to be able to cycle routes they want to go on. The result is a rapidly rising rate of cycle network delivery, measures from the Mayor and boroughs to reduce car use and many more people cycling in London.
