We are children's charity based in Poole, Dorset that aims to support children all around the UK who are living with disabilities or are from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Here at Little Lives UK, we believe that every child deserves the best.
Through our four campaigns, we aim to make the lives of children throughout the UK better.
Through our Someone To Talk To campaign, we provide free mental health support to children and young people who can't wait on long waiting lists and cannot afford to fund private sessions themselves.
Our Children's Community Support campaign ensures that children around the UK have meaningful activities and clubs to attend for free that can also act as safe places to go outside of their homes.
We provide free technology to children through our Technology Programme. This is used by children to keep up with their homework and schoolwork and to ensure that they don't fall behind their classmates. To source the technology needed, we provide a free London unwanted electronics collection. From these donations, we then re-donate the technology to children who are in need.
Our final campaign is our Sports Teams Sponsorship. We believe that inclusion in sport helps children not only benefit from physical activity but also helps them benefit from meeting new people and bonding with like minded people. Not all children can afford the memberships or kits so we fund memberships and sponsor its of sports teams that help children become included in the sport they want to play.
We also run three charity shops in London which helps us raise the money we need to run our campaigns and give back to our community.
The work we do could not be done with out the charity donations we receive and our fantastic volunteers that give up their time to give back to their community. We always have volunteering opportunities in Bournemouth and Poole and volunteering opportunities in our charity shops.
