Objectives

The objectives of the LCCA are to improve the local amenities, environment and character of Little Chalfont, making it an attractive place to live, work and trade.

Activities

As well as the regular activities such as organising Village Day, Small Business Saturday, the hanging baskets, flags and Christmas lights, the LCCA has worked jointly with the Parish and District Council supporting them in extending the 1 hour free parking at Snells Wood car park, and improving of the general upkeep of the village (such as removal of graffiti, replacement road signs, drainage issues). We have also reviewed, commented on and improved many individual planning applications which affect the village, as well as strategic future plans for the area, fought for other improvements to parking and provided an ad hoc email service on important matters that affect the community.
