Objectives

Our supported accommodation is characterised by offering single women, pregnant women and young families, who are fleeing domestic violence that need a safe home.

Whilst providing general and parenting guidance, mentoring and support to move forward positively in their lives and create positive outcomes for the lives of their children.  

Activities

Families will have access from 3-10  hours support a week each which will range from Key Worker- they will work with the family around any issues that may present itself such as; Parenting, Schooling, Finances, Relationships, Faith, Money, Sex and Addictions. Practical & Emotional support parenting courses including; Solihul parenting approach and Straightening Families Strengthening Communities Freedom course Domestic Violence Art therapy- a form of counselling Pastoral care support with elements of faith components We encourage families to become work ready by offering and supporting them through Free Pearson accredited courses such as; Getting ready for work IT courses Child Care Health and Social Care.
