The object of the Charity shall be to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of Blackbird Leys in order to relieve poverty and sickness, and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life of said community.
The Leys CDI has for many years run two projects: a hugely vibrant youth project for 9-25 year olds which has been funded by two successive rounds of Big Lottery Funding; and the Clockhouse Project, which brings together local over-50s to tackle isolation, boost health and well-being, develop new skills and interests, and generally live life to the full.
