Objectives

Lewes District Citizens Advice provides free, independent and confidential advice to anyone living or working in Lewes District.  We help people to understand their rights and responsibilities. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.  We aim to provide the advice people need for the problems they face and to improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives.

Activities

Clients can drop in to any of our 3 main offices in Lewes, Newhaven and  Seaford or at one of our outreach locations in Peacehaven and Telscombe (opening hours as per website). In addition to these sessions, clients can access advice by email or telephone and via our self help website.

The campaigning side or our work is undertaken by a small team of dedicated volunteers who use anonymised cases studies to feedback information on policies and practices, either local or national, that are having a negative impact on the lives of our clients.
