(a)  The welfare, happiness and benefit of disabled men and women in or out of hospitals and homes, who have or who are serving in the Armed Forces or the Merchant Navy (our guests). Our remit is not only to the war wounded but also to those guests disabled through physical accident, illness, mental stress or age (and their partners).

(b)  To organise and encourage personal service and voluntary work among its members to provide entertainment and hospitality to our guests.

(c)  To co-operate with and to provide assistance to other organisations in sympathy with the objects of the association in such charitable ways as the Trustees think fit.

(d)  To receive monies by way of subscriptions, donations, endowments, fees, royalties and gifts in kind, and to raise funds for the purpose of carrying on the work of the association and to administer such funds in such manner as may be authorised by the Trustees.

(e) To encourage the interest and work of the organisation throughout the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
