The Sea Cadets helps 14000 young people at 400 Units across the UK. That challenges themselves and developing new skills, which include sailing, boating, paddle sports, climbing. The ethos and traditions of the Royal Navy and the Royal Marines are at the heart of Sea Cadets & Royal Marine Cadets.who are guided by the values : Respect, loyalty, self discipline, commitment, honesty & integrity. Helping to give young people the best possible head start in life.
All adults who run a Sea Cadet Unit are Volunteers who are happy to roll up their sleeves, get involved and potentially make a huge positive difference to the lives of so many young people. There are to parts to a Sea Cadet Unit, the Adult Instructors who train and lead the instruction of the cadets, and the Unit Management Team who provide the leadership for fund raising and using their practical business skills to help shape the Unit, identifying what it needs to make it a successful part of the community.
