The objects of Leatherhead and Dorking Gymnastics Club are, for the public benefit, the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation and the advancement of amateur sport for the benefit of the inhabitants of Leatherhead and Dorking and the surrounding areas in particular by the provision of:
1.1.1 facilities and coaching for gymnastics;
1.1.2 specialist equipment and facilities to enable persons in need, including by reason of disability or other charitable need to participate in gymnastics; and
1.1.3 training for teachers and coaches of gymnastics, through the provision of gymnastics courses for amateur gymnasts.
Leatherhead & Dorking Gymnastics Club provides a safe and social environment for all that attend from 18 months through to young adults.
We provide social interaction for parents and carers, encourage participation and this enforces the Club’s role in the community. By keeping active and participating in gymnastics children are helped to develop their fine motor skills, trust, responsibility, balance, flexibility, coordination, concentration, mental focus, strength and confidence.
The Club is open 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm
We run:
Pre School and Kinder gym classes during the day Monday to Friday
General Gymnastics including disability classes 4pm – 9pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 8.30am – 3pm
Squad Gymnastics Groups Monday to Sunday weekday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday.
Drop in Fun in the Foam Sessions – Monday 1pm to 3.45pm; Tuesday to Friday 12 noon to 3.45pm.
Sensory Room Sessions – Bookable online Monday to Friday.
Children’s Parties Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
School programme including disabilities Monday to Friday during school hours.

As a charity we are a non-profit organisation therefore any surplus funds we do receive are re-invested into the provision or used to subsidise classes/sessions with other charities.
The club has established a successful proven track record working in partnership with schools in the public and private sectors of education.
