LEAP is a housing and support service for vulnerable people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the Lincoln and Gainsborough region. We work with:
Most people that are referred to LEAP have a range of issues and needs with homelessness being just one. Mental Health, low self-esteem, depression, offending behaviour, domestic abuse, mild learning difficulties, substance misuse, and more.
LEAP holds a good size property portfolio in the form of housing in multiple occupation, self-contained units, flats and family homes where we accommodate vulnerable people for up to a maximum of 2 years. LEAP is also a registered social landlord with our accommodation meeting the decent homes standards. Our Housing Officers visit the properties most days and offer individuals 2 hours of one-to-one support per week to help move the person towards independence.
