Objectives

To relieve poverty, sickness and disease within the UK and in Uganda, particularly Lango Sub-region.
To advance education in the history, culture, art and language of Langi people in the UK.
To support African youth and their parents through education, in health, self-help and social enterprise.
To promote the importance of health, access to medical facilities, and the pursuit of recreation through sport.
To provide translation and project evaluation services across communities.

Activities

We are a registered charity based in the United Kingdom (UK). Our vision is to alleviate poverty, create development awareness and empower disadvantaged and vulnerable communities in both the UK and Uganda. We aspire to achieve a “LANGO WITHOUT POVERTY”. LAUK aims to advance the health and social, economic, and cultural wellbeing of the Lango communities in both countries.
