Objectives

Our Mission Statement:

To inspire and enable all young people, especially those considered to be disadvantaged, to realise their potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

Our Vision:

  • To assist and support clubs in providing a safe and exciting Club for young people in which they can participate in a range of activities and develop through positive experiences.
  • Where they can make new friends and learn about themselves and realise their potential as responsible citizens in their community.
  • To maximise the resources of the Association by working in conjunction with its member clubs and the national organisation to achieve its purpose.
  • When available, we will share our experience and facilities for the benefit of youth organisations throughout Lancashire.

Our Core Beliefs:

By supporting member clubs, together we will be able to provide young people with:

  •  An attractive, affordable  and planned programme of activities and events
  •  A safe place to learn and grow
  •  On-going voluntary relationships with caring adults

Activities

SPORTS2GO - providing and delivering a range of sports and physical activities to promote exercise and healthy lifestyles.

A regional programme of sporting events allows young people to progress to participation in National sporting events including Boxing, Dodge ball, Circuit Training, Fishing, Football, Pillow Bashing, Pool, Circus Skills, Dance and much more

ARTS2GO - providing a range of activities with an Arts theme for member clubs to access, including Arts & Crafts, Music, Dance, Drama, etc

CLUB2GO - a mobile youth club deployed across Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde in some of the most deprived communities in the country. Youth workers make contact with and support young people often living in dysfunctional families and communities where poverty, unemployment, drugs and alcohol misuse and criminal activity is often prevalent. Club2Go provides a positive alternative to the negative influence young people can face on a day to day basis.

ORMSIDE MILL ACTIVITY & RESIDENTIAL CENTRE - The centre provides bespoke residential and adventurous outdoor activities and experiences. Including Climbing, Canoeing, Caving, Abseiling, Gorge Scrambling, Team Building, Problem Solving, Challenge Days and much more.
