King George & Queen’s Hospitals Charity’s main aim is simple - to make our local hospitals even better.
Whilst the NHS provides funding for the necessities, with the support of the local community we are able to fund projects that enhance the hospital experience for patients, visitors and staff at both Queen’s Hospital, Romford and King George Hospital, Ilford. Donations to our charity are used to fund cutting edge equipment, medical research, facilities and training in order to keep our hospitals at the forefront of healthcare. All of our projects enhance the work of the NHS, rather than subsidise it and help provide great care to every patient, every day.
Being in hospital can be difficult at the best of times but with the support of the local community we are able to fund projects that help improve the patient experience. Whether it is as simple as providing a bravery sticker to a child, providing complementary therapies to cancer patients or funding state of the art medical equipment everything we do is designed to make a positive difference patients and visitors at a very difficult time in their lives.
