Objectives

The vast majority of the UK’s 180,000 charities have an income of less than £100,00 a year and are lagging behind, as they do not have the resources to invest in good online fundraising and CRM systems or even in acquiring digital skills.

The KindLink Foundation exists to provide free online tools to charities to make sure they can raise more funds and showcase their work and impact in a more transparent way. We are helping more than 800 charities and nonprofits in the UK and globally and aim to expand our work.

Activities

The KindLink for charity platform is fully functional and used by 700 charities in the UK and overseas, including East Africa.

All nonprofit have free access to:

  • CRM databases for supporters and donations, with the ability to record any type of offline donations, including gifts in kind and volunteering time

  • Online fundraising pages , and donation processing at the lowest rate on the market (1.45% + 10p) with beautiful designs ensuring a smooth donor experience Automated Gift Aid reporting on both online and offline donations

  • Project management tool integrated with social media suite

  • Volunteering management tools created in partnership with the Do-it Trust

  • A dedicated social network where charities and supporters can connect around the charities’ great work and impact

We are now looking at integrating theory of change strategy and expense management in the system to have a fully integrated software for nonprofits.

In order to make the Foundation sustainable, we have also launched Payroll Giving services for companies and managing DAFs.
