Objectives

Khulisa works with young people in schools, prisons and in the community. We help them to understand and tackle the root-cause of their violent and anti-social behaviours. We do this by placing wellbeing at the heart of rehabilitation; we provide intensive therapeutic support and mentoring, which builds self-awareness and emotional resilience.

Khulisa’s programmes are proven to be effective in reducing re-offending and in improving participants’ mental health and wellbeing.  As well as helping participants who are openly demonstrating self‐destructive behaviours, Khulisa’s programmes have had an equally transformational impact on young participants who are disengaged or emotionally vulnerable, helping them to identify some of the roots and triggers for their behaviour.

Activities

Face It is a behavioural change and personal development programme for young people, delivered in schools and Pupil Referral Units.

Khulisa delivers a high-impact violence reduction programme called 'Silence the Violence' in adult prisons and youth offending institutions across the UK.

Khulisa provides intensive therapeutic support and mentorship to ex-offenders, to help them re-integrate into the community
