KWF is a UK registered Charity that calls for the end of domestic violence particularly within Muslim communities, but not exclusively. We aim to tackle domestic and family abuse with a sound understanding of the communities needs providing effective support services.
By empowering individuals, educating communities and engaging statutory, voluntary and faith sector organisations we seek to break barriers and sensitively tackle the attached taboo and stigma. We have a unique team of men and women who commit to a zero tolerance approach with regards violence against women and girls.
We believe violence and domestic abuse is not someone else’s problem rather everyone’s and with more joined up efforts we together can help break the silence.
Our services are open to women who are suffering or have experienced any form of domestic or family abuse. We will endeavour to support you in accessing the most appropriate services in your circumstances.
Vision: To safeguard the most vulnerable in our society at a time of need. We aim to build resilience, empowering individuals to take responsibility for their lives and reach their maximum potentials.
Our current services include: Clinical Counselling, Ladies Basketball, Legal Surgeries and Ladies Gatherings alongside focussed educational campaigns and activities.
