We identify, research and record our outstanding legacy of historic parks and gardens with the help of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers, concentrating on sites that are not registered and may be at risk.
We improve awareness of the history of gardens and garden design in Kent through various programmes including visits. lectures and study days. Gardens not normally open to the public are often visited.
We help conserve important gardens and landscapes though involvement in specific projects. these include recreating the garden at the Archbishop's Palace in Maidstone.
We play an important conservation role in the planning system. We advise planning authorities on developments which may affect historic parks and gardens.
