Objectives

Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre (KCRASAC) is a dedicated, specialist charity providing long-term counselling and support to children, young people and adults who have experienced sexual violence and abuse. Most of our service users are women and girls, but we also provide gender-specific support for male survivors.

Our services include: confidential information, advice and support, counselling, group therapy, Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA), and professional training, and we have an active placement and volunteer programme.

We support survivors to access the specialist support they need, working in a trauma-informed way to build health, wellbeing and safety and develop support networks.
