Objectives

The Jubilee Foodbank Market Harborough works to prevent or relieve food poverty in Market Harborough and the surrounding area by providing emergency food parcels and other access to food to individuals and families in need.

In 2022 we dealt with over 1000 referrals which led to 23,481 meals being provided to people in need.

Activities

The foodbank works with referral agencies in Market Harborough to support people in food crisis. Our main referrer is Harborough District Council. However, we also work with other organisations such as: Citizens Advice, Beacon Care, Home-Start, Social Prescribers, Adult Social Care, medical centres, churches and schools.

Any individual in need can contact one of these referral agencies and will usually be able to pick up a food parcel the same day.
