Objectives

Jordan Mission will be operating in Newham, in East London in the United Kingdom and Badja, a village situated at 45km of Lome, the capital of Togo in West Africa, where there will be a volunteering opportunity for young adults to exchange knowledge with other young adults or to explore Togo in Africa. Our work will primarily focus on Newham and Badja.  We will offer our training and services to other areas in London and Togo once we are fully established and needs have been identified.

Our services in both, Newham and Badja focus on three (3) major parts: Education, Training & Employment.

Activities

Activities for both areas, Newham and Badja are:

 

Newham, London-UK

 

  • Information, Advice and Guidance on soft skills training, finding a decent private rented accommodation, welfare and education or career, will be provided for young adults
  • Workshops comprising the following subjects: CV writing skills, Living On Budgeting, Managing Your Home, how to sustain tenancy and work, dealing with lack of confidence/self-esteem, Life-skills in general

 

Badja – Togo - After School Club
