Objectives

Since 1975, Jacksons Lane has transformed lives as a cultural and creative hub in the heart of North London. As the flagship arts and cultural venue in Haringey, we create a year-round programme that encompasses the best in contemporary performance, arts participation, cultural education, and outreach work.

Activities

Jacksons Lane exists to empower, and ignite creativity within, diverse communities and works tirelessly to overcome traditional barriers including age, socioeconomic background, and geography to achieve full engagement with the arts for everyone. Our Creative Learning programme of outreach work is committed to using the arts and creativity to increase confidence, reduce isolation and improve well-being. We work across North London, providing a variety of opportunities to take part –including weekly circus workshops for young people and social activities with music and dance for older people in supported housing schemes. Our activities have continued throughout lockdown and the pandemic, ensuring we reach those who need us most.

Jacksons Lane benefits 100,000 people every year, from all ages and backgrounds, offering the best in contemporary theatre and circus, a wide range of arts-based classes and courses, and a large-scale outreach programme for hard-to-reach communities
