Objectives

The Jack Petchey Foundation is a charitable foundation which works tirelessly to support aged 11-24 across London and Essex. Since 1999, we have invested over £110 million pounds in ensuring that young people have high aspirations and have the opportunity to develop their potential, play a full part in society and be recognised for their achievements.

Activities

The Foundation supports a wide variety of schemes in areas ranging from sport to science, art to internships, vlogging to volunteering.

Our major programme is the Jack Petchey Achievement Award scheme, which operates in 2,000 grassroots youth clubs, youth organisations and secondary schools.

Other programmes include the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge, the world’s largest public speaking competition for young people; and Step into Dance, the UK’s biggest inclusive dance programme for secondary school pupils.
