Wight Dash provides a range of services for women and their dependent children, who have been subjected to violence, abuse and trauma. We are a “by and for” women’s organisation, specialising in domestic abuse and other forms of multiple disadvantage. We define multiple disadvantage as any intersecting issues such as domestic / sexual violence, Adverse Childhoood Experiences (ACESs), social isolation, risk of homelessness, mental distress, involvement with the criminal justice system, poverty, disability etc.
We employ 7 workers to support the women and run a Freedom Programme which helps the women not to repeat being a victim.
