The main objectives of the organisation are to use the arts and in particular but not exclusively African arts (storytelling, drama, music, dance, arts and crafts) as a vehicle to advance the education, health and wellbeing of people of all backgrounds, age groups and abilities, particularly the disadvantaged, so that they can achieve their full potential, play an active role in their community and have an improved quality of life
IROKO provides performances and workshops in traditional African Theatre (storytelling, drama, music and dance) in a fun and informal learning environment. The organisation also supplies resources and runs accredited training courses.
