We help people of Irish descent and Irish travellers in the Greater Manchester area through the provision of advice, social groups and an outreach worker to the Irish traveller community. This helps alleviate isolation, assists people with applying for passports or other Irish documents. The outreach worker helps traveller families access the social services to which they are entitled.
We support the recently bereaved and provided a burial service for those who do not have any next of kin.
We run several social groups each week which provide a chance to socialise as well as providing food.
We run advice sessions to assist people claiming welfare benefits from both the UK and Irish governments as well as assistance in obtaining Irish government documentation such as birth certificates and passports.
