Objectives

Our mission is to transform the way primary schools address mental health and wellbeing by providing teachers and school staff with the knowledge and confidence to support the children in their care, creating an optimal learning environment.

Our goals are:

  • All primary schools are safe mental health spaces where the mental wellbeing of pupils, teachers and school staff is as important as physical health.
  • Teachers are able to do their core job – teach children – in an environment where they feel supported and have healthy relationships with their colleagues, their pupils, and the wider school community.
  • All children feel supported in school emotionally as well as academically, so they can both learn and flourish as they grow up.

Activities

Invincible Me provides a whole school approach to mental health for primary school teachers, staff and school leaders, making early intervention a priority and putting teacher wellbeing at the heart of our programme.

Our model helps schools to ensure mental health and wellbeing is treated as a top priority, seamlessly integrated into the ethos of the school. It is a personalised programme, based upon the areas the school identifies as needing improvement, within the framework of a formal needs audit and resulting in a measurable, impactful action plan each school will create with the support of Invincible Me’s facilitators.
