IPAT is a small charity with mighty ambitions. We seek to alleviate poverty amongst performers and musicians working across many platforms in different continents. Creativity, humanity and community are the precepts that inform our grant giving, and that bonds all artists worldwide.
IPAT seeks to help performers worldwide, who are faced with poverty and conflict. IPAT’s beneficiaries are just like you. They want a better life, a stable community and a say in their futures. IPAT helps them achieve this, by providing financial support on a non-partisan basis.
Many of our beneficiaries live in countries that are scarred by poverty and conflict. These individuals seek to address the issues that impact on their day-to-day lives and reinforce a sense of belonging through their creative practice. We are currently funding the living expenses for displaced Syrian performers residing in Lebanon, a music school in El Salvador, and theatre companies in Kenya, Nigeria, and Palestine. By providing these practitioners with their basic living expenses, we help them to prosper and become autonomous.
