International Cat Care is a charity passionate about improving the care of all cats, be they owned or unowned. Pet cats, stressed cats, ill cats, homeless cats, all have different needs, problems and require different solutions and approaches, and this is where we come in. For over 60 years we have been raising the standard of treatment and care provided to cats by veterinary surgeons, cat professionals such as boarding cattery breeders, those working with unowned cats and for cat owners by providing relevant, reliable, scientifically based, practical information to empower people to do the best for cats.
We work with veterinary and welfare groups, organisations and individuals all over the world to reach our target audiences with information that is accurate and up to date. We have 3 arms of the charity - veterinary, welfare and advice for owners. For the veterinary community we provide a monthly scientific journal as a membership benefit, along with holding international conferences, webinars and access to vet forums for peer-to-peer support and advice. For unowned cats we are developing a specific area of our website and distance educations courses to give sound, practical and relevant information in this difficult area. Our owner advice is aimed at improving the general knowledge and understanding of cats for the general public, providing advice on general care, health and behaviour, as well as campaigning on relevant issues.
