Objectives

As a County Voluntary Council covering Rhondda Cynon Taf, we act as an innovative umbrella body or ‘Hub’ to support over 500 members through alongside members to help them plan and manage what they do. We believe by the amazing commitment, skills and knowledge within communities has the potential to reduce social exclusion, increase community resilience and improve wellbeing.

Activities

We provide:

A Community Advice Service to develop the capacity of community and voluntary organisations covering support with planning, governance, funding and volunteering.
Community and Wellbeing Coordination - with a team working with GP's, social care and the community to help people improve their wellbeing by taking part in community activities.
Mental Health Development - we support service users, carers, communities, third sector and partners to work together to improve mental wellbeing.
