By way of a brief introduction, The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) brings together companies across the Insurance sector to to make a positive difference in local communities through grants, volunteering and leadership activities. Since it’s inception in 1994, IICF has contributed over $23.5 million in local community grants and nearly 200,000 hours of volunteer service across the United States.
The London Division was launched in June 2015 to support communities across the UK. Board Members include Swiss Re, Aon Benfield, XL Catlin and CNA Hardy. The Foundation is unique in that it encourages the industry to work together to address social issues also relevant to the business. Similarly, it brings together experienced as well as young professionals within the insurance sector committed to giving back to the community.
The organisation holds a series of leadership and volunteering events each year - to promote collaboration and leadership in the Insurance Industry and to raise funds for our grants programme - which intends to work with local UK charities that support education.
