Objectives

An award winning social enterprise that is passionate about providing accessible psychological support for young people in education, training and employment to foster emotional wellbeing and resiliency.

  • We are a community interest company so our profits are reinvested into our young people to enhance emotional wellbeing and resiliency.
  • We use an early intervention model, using specialist support (Psychologists) to provide bespoke services in education, training and employment.
  • We focus on supporting and intervening, we offer specialist individual, group and consultation support for young people, caregivers and professionals.
  •  We create and nurture a safe space to work collaboratively so young people are supported and believed in to achieve their aspirations.

Activities

We work from a model that allows us to integrate into the environment (i.e. school, organisation) so we can work systemically and develop a therapeutic rapport.

We are keen to ensure that our services can provide long term benefits. That is why we work closely with professionals so our skills and knowledge can be shared. A dedicated and experienced Mind Space facilitator (Psychologist) will work in creative ways to offer one to one, and group support. They will also be able to offer consultation support.

We use a variety of evidence based psychological interventions, for example Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Attachment focused interventions, Psychodynamic, Dialectic Behaviour Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and many more. The interventions we use are recognised and recommended by Department for Education, Public Health England and National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
