Imagine provide services which support people with mental health needs, learning disabilities, offending profiles and older people. Services include supported living, day opportunity services including employment and social inclusion services, floating support and prison in-reach. We provide community-based gender-specific services supporting women with multiple and complex needs, and extra care housing.
We work with people who face multiple barriers including stigma and discrimination, and support people to overcome barriers and increase opportunities to access employment, housing and universal services.
All services are person-centred, we use person-centred planning tools and take direction from people who use our services. Action plans are established with service users, with clearly defined goals.
We work in partnership with statutory services including mental health Adult Social Care Practitioners, Probation, District Nursing, Occupational Health, GPs. We work with specialist services including drugs and alcohol, psychological services; we support service users to access Voluntary Sector and universal services.
We encourage service users to develop self-confidence and resilience as our model is one of enablement rather than dependency.
We value the 'wisdom and life experience' that people who use services can bring to organisations and therefore offer volunteering and employment opportunities, and would welcome Trustee applications from candidates who have had experience of using services.
