Ignite is a progressive, community based youth work charity, that works to improve the lives of young people affected by adversities, such as a lack of employment, exploitation and youth violence; through services, training and advocacy. Our aim is to ‘engage, empower, transform’.
We are faith based but not faith biased.
We offer mentoring and sports activities such as football, boxing and basketball locally.
Young people from different backgrounds are encouraged to come together to participate in both team and 1-1 sports sessions.
Our programmes are designed to foster growth and develop confidence in participants, developing sports and social skills, as well as building emotional resilience and improving wellbeing.
We also offer music sessions, where young people can access valuable studio time, learn how to record their own music and get help and advice with lyrics and content. Young people can attend workshops (in-person and on-line) that cover various topics targeted at taking your music career to the next level!
