Objectives

Horizon LAC provides specialist end to end legal advice on welfare areas of law to people with mental disabilities.

As a result of substantial cuts to legal aid, there is very little assistance out there for people that need help with their matters relating to Personal Independence Payment and Employment & Support Allowance.

Activities

We support people with all aspects of PIP and ESA including claim forms, Mandatory Reconsiderations and also representing them at Tribunals in their appeal against the decisions reached by the Department of Work & Pensions.

There is no time limit on our support, and we continue assisting as long as necessary - our longest running matter has been ongoing for over two years.

We do not charge for any service we provide, and it is completely free to the public.
