Objectives

Hope Housing are a growing christian charity working with people experiencing homelessness in Bradford. Our aim is to end rough sleeping in Bradford by eradicating homelessness through the provision of a range of services including crisis management, advice and advocacy and supported housing. We have an excellent track record of effective delivery and partnership working around issues such as homelessness, migrant destitution and to assist those with multiple needs.

Each year we help many clients get off the streets and into accommodation. We help destitute clients access passports and other forms of ID so they can apply for settled status and access the support they need to get out of destitution. We aim to help those who may normally have slipped through the gaps.

Activities

Hope Housing currently has 36 supported bed places in 18 properties across the city of Bradford including 6 destitute bed spaces. We also have an outreach worker who is able to house people in an emergency whilst we then look for more suitable long term options.

We run a drop in once a week to help EEA migrants apply for settled status and access universal credit and other benefits.
