Objectives

Hope House Children’s Hospices are here to make sure that no one faces the death of their child alone.

We support more than 750 local families who are either caring for a terminally ill child, or whose child has died.

It costs £6.5 million every year to run our services and 86% of this is spent on care. Approximately one month’s income comes from statutory sources and for the other 11 months of the year we are dependent on public support.

Our ambition is to raise an additional £2.5 million each year to make sure we reach every child, mum, dad, brother and sister who needs our help in this area.

Activities

In order to meet our objectives we look to maximise the impact our community can have we have a number of ways people can support our hospice.

Financially, people can donate direct, attend our fundraising events throughout the year, participate as a business, sponsor an event, think about us in their will, play our Lottery or take part in our raffles.

From a volunteer basis, people can volunteer in our shops, at our events or at any one of our collections which take part throughout our catchment area i.e. Shropshire, Cheshire, Mid and North Wales.

We aim to meet our objectives by raising at least £6.5 million to reach every family who needs us.
