HOPE Harrow recognises that all children should have a stable and loving home environment.

HOPE Harrow’s vision is:

 

Recognising that every family is unique and special. Every family has the right to determine and achieve their goals in life.

HOPE Harrow aim’s to support parents/carers by offering:

Provide courses and workshops for parents: Effective Parenting, Living with a Teenager, Anger Management, Sibling Rivalry, Internet Safety, Bullying, Parenting Pre-teens, Setting limits. Training for volunteers. Work in partnership with local schools and other organisations in the community. Parent Mentoring for parents and carers. Mother Tongue Parent Support.

 

 

Activities

One to one mentoring 

 

This is available to parents/carer’s in their own home or another place or convenience. Our Mentor’s are all parents themselves with extensive experience in supporting parents. They can assist with equipping parents and carer’ with the skills to set boundaries, discipline, routines etc with the outcome that relationships between the parents/carers and children improve. The Mentor will work with parents for six sessions of up to two hours at a time.
