We are a UK based charity raising funds to support street connected children in Kolkata, India through projects delivered by The Hope Kolkata Foundation. Our shared HOPE vision is that “it should never hurt to be a child” and children in HOPE’s care are provided with protection, healthcare, counselling and education to help them enter adulthood equipped with the tools and support they need to live healthy and happy lives with better opportunities. In addition to children's protection homes, HOPE run a hospital, provide outreach medical care and child education services.
Activities : We are a well established charity raising funds in the UK for projects and programmes delivered in Kolkata India by our related charity The Hope Kolkata Foundation supporting street connected children with protection, healthcare, counselling and education to help them enter into adulthood equipped with the tools and support they need to live healthy and happy lives with better opportunities for their future.
We raise funds through various activities including attended events, online events, child sponsorships, grants from Trusts and Foundations, and individual and corporate donations.
Location : The trustees meet in London and by conference call and video link. The charity is active across the UK.
