Home-Start Exeter, East and Mid Devon is a voluntary organisation offering friendship and support to local families with young children. This unique service is provided by volunteers, who are parents themselves. They give regular support, friendship and practical help to families who are struggling with raising their own children when a crisis hits, or they are feeling the impact of a life event or poor health. Many parents need help, friendship, advice or support during those early years when children are young; there is no rulebook for raising a family and sometimes it can seem overwhelming, particularly if a family is going through difficult times.
