Home is a café for everyone in Manchester. We believe in nurturing relationships, getting involved, not rushing on, and perhaps more importantly, always having the kettle right on and a ridiculously warm welcome waiting for all ages, and all walks of life. Staffed by volunteers, every penny we make over and above the running costs of the cafe is reinvested locally; so it's a bit like a community chest where the community itself decides how to use the money wisely.
We are a community space which anyone can use and we welcome volunteers of all abilities. We are here to offer training, build confidence and let people try something new! This could be anything from cooking to working on the till. Our volunteering opportunities are designed around the individual, so if you have any specific interests let us know!
