The Hive is a small local charity organisation whose aim is to support people with learning disabilities, their families and carers in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. The Hive Drop-In is a drop-in centre based in Kingswood where adults with learning disabilities can come to socialise and engage in various activities. We strive to help, include, value and empower the learning disabled community.
We provide a range of activities that people can either choose to be involved in or simply to attend and socialise with friends. On mornings throughout the week we run pottery, music and drama sessions in addition to our drop-in. Volunteers and staff are here to provide support when/where needed. There are many activities on hand, namely a pool table, games room and sensory room in addition to our planned activity sessions.
