The Historic Gardens Foundation is an international heritage charity whose aim is to promote the cause of historic parks, gardens and designed landscapes worldwide. We work for the restoration and conservation of this important heritage and strive to make it accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
We publish magazines and newsletters with articles about interesting parks and gardens and raise awareness of the issues of conservation, restoration and better maintenance of our garden heritage. We campaign against inappropriate and insensitive development which threatens this heritage worldwide, and encourage making it accessible to all. We welcome academic and amateur research on these subjects.
