Objectives

The Citizens Advice service provides the advice people need for the problems they face and improves the policies and practices that affect people’s lives. We respond to the right issues through the right channels, as one service working together.

As a service, we:

  • deliver advice to solve individual problems

  • provide education to empower clients to help themselves in the future

  • campaign to solve collective problems

  • benefit society through the way we work

We benefit every-one, our value is shared across society. For every £1 invested in High Wycombe Citizens Advice we generate at least:

  • £3.06 in fiscal benefits – reduction in health service demand, local authority homelessness, services and out of work benefits for clients and volunteers.
  • £16.75 in public value – improvements in participation and productivity for clients and volunteers.
  • £13.12 in benefits to individuals- income gained through benefits, debts written off and consumer problems resolved.
