We support the communities of High Green and surrounding areas in the north of Sheffield. Our community experiences deprivation on a wide range of indicators and many households are isolated or excluded. We provide facilities from which other charities deliver support services and projects which address food poverty. A new mission and strategy have been agreed to provide more services directly to the community, with a focus on addressing isolation, health inequalities and education.
We manage a 50,000sf former school building as a community asset, providing office space for local services and meeting space for local community groups. We are developing an exciting portfolio of new projects - e.g. social clubs, exercise classes, 'social cafes' for people with mental health issues and outreach community development.
