We are a committed group of local people working to make Herne Hill a better place to live, work and visit. Our work benefits residents and traders in Herne Hill and the immediate surrounding area. We are volunteer led and also have a Project Manager and Administrator.
We implement public realm improvements such as murals, lighting, and our very own wooden train outside the station. We promote and campaign for greener travel initiatives including our current schemes to promote school walking crocodiles, and to lend out bike trailers for families to try before they buy. We have a regular presence in the community with the Community Tent at Herne Hill's Sunday market, where we also offer a table to other local charities and community groups who have something to share with local people. We support others with their own community initiatives through our Small Grants scheme.
