Geographical remit:

Our primary objectives are to preserve Moore's legacy at his home and grounds at Perry Green in Hertfordshire; to support and extend the study and research of sculpture at the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds; to encourage the public enjoyment of art and sculpture through world-wide touring of the Henry Moore Collection and through publications and online resources; and to support sculpture projects in the UK and abroad through the award of grants.

Here at The Henry Moore Foundation, we would like as many people as possible to enjoy and appreciate sculpture and in particular the work of Britain’s greatest sculptor, Henry Moore. We want to inspire and inform people of all ages and backgrounds, whether they are visiting with their family for a day out or are students of sculpture. We want to extend our reach to worldwide audiences through international touring of our collection; and to support the development of sculpture through our grants programme. We have some bold ambitions that require us to capitalise on our assets in order to achieve these aims.

If you are interested in working for an organisation with a fascinating past and an exciting future then The Henry Moore Foundation could be for you. We are a charity operating from two locations: Moore’s former home at Perry Green in rural East Hertfordshire and the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds city centre, both of which are open to all.
